The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) is committed to a careful and thorough cleanup of the Bethlehem Steel Site and surrounding impacted properties while keeping the community informed of our actions. Our top priority is ensuring that community members do not come into contact with any site-related contamination. DEC and the New York State Department of Health (DOH) are coordinating closely with Tecumseh Redevelopment Incorporated to facilitate information and limit any disruption in the community.

Connect with DEC - We need your input!

This public availability webpage provides additional information about the site and planned investigations and remedial actions, as well as provides materials and information on public availability events.
